The OUSD Grants Office is here
to support and coordinate grant application development and evaluation.
Grant Application Coordination and Support:
Schools, District Departments, Universities and Community-Based Organizations
are encouraged to coordinate their
grant development with the OUSD Grants Office whenever seeking grant funding to
serve Oakland public schools. The Grants Office will provide:
-Links to funding sources
-Support for streamlined service integration that meets prioritized district
needs
-Contact information for program planning coordination
-District data coordination for grant development, research support, and
evaluation design
-State Administrator letters of support and grant signatures that must be
requested
seven working days before the funder’s deadline
All grant proposals submitted by OUSD staff and community-based organizations
for OUSD and school site services must be submitted to the Grants Office for
State Administrator review and approval at the time of grant submission to the
funding agency.
